HOW DOES IT WORK?

We have curated a selection of extraordinary pieces from our archives. We invite you to browse through it and book 1 day in advance. Choose your delivery and pickup slot, please email us if you require same day delivery. Don’t worry about dry-cleaning your item – leave that to us.

RENTAL PERIOD

SKIIM offers items for rent that have a 7 day rental period.

Once that rental period is completed, you can either send back the item or rent it for an additional period. If you fail to return the rented item, you will automatically be charged for the next rental period using any payment method on the account one day after the rental due date. There is no limit to how many rental cycles you may have.

THE DELIVERY

At the moment we only deliver in the UK. Our delivery fee is a flat rate of £15.00. We offer two delivery options: Our standard delivery is 2-3 days, where we will send a pre-paid returns label at no added cost; we also offer a next day courier service where you can select a one hour delivery & collection window. The delivery time for each item will be determined by the stock availability when the order is placed. Your address and other circumstances may impact the delivery. SKIIM can not guarantee delivery times. Each rental period starts the day the rental is delivered.

Every order will require one day of processing before the shipment is sent.

DAMAGES OR LOST ITEMS

Any lost rental after the courier has confirmed the delivery is the responsibility of the client. If a shipment cannot be located, the client must immediately contact SKIIM. Each item will be inspected and cleaned before being shipped. If the item is not in the condition which is expected when ordered, please contact SKIIM upon receipt of the shipment.

The rental item must be returned, along with the ship/return box, dust bag, and other items/accessories that come with the shipment.

If an item is returned with damage beyond minor wear and tear, determined by SKIIM, you will be responsible for the full retail amount of the item. If you have any questions about the full retail amount of an item you are currently renting or on one you plan to rent, please email contact@skiim-paris.com. SKIIM reserves the right to use any payment method to receive monetary damages. Once an item is fully paid for by the client, the client will have the option to keep the item; however, the client will be liable and charged for the shipping costs. All clients are responsible in the event of a lost item, lending an item to others, theft, and any other circumstances that result in the item not remaining in its original condition. 

All rentals will come in a ship/return box, a dust bag, and other items such as shoulder strap, top handle, etc. The client must return all items that come with the shipment. If a client loses the ship/return box, the client must properly and securely pack and store the rental item before shipping back to us. Any damages during transit will result in the client being liable. The clients are liable for any and all missing pieces which come with the shipment. 

DEPOSIT

We do not require a deposit. We are however required to take a £1000 block on your card, this will be processed the day before your rental period. These funds will not be taken from your account and will be released upon return of the items in their original condition. This can be avoided by verifying your offline ID, your official ID will be reviewed by our third party financial reviewers.

In order to successfully verify your ID, we accept the following documents:

• Current Passport
• Current Full Driving License, UK or overseas (must show your address, signature and photograph)
• Current National Identity Card
