Secondly, weddings can be a long affair. Make sure that you wear something comfortable and stylish, keeping the weather in mind. Since you have probably been wearing trainers for the last year and half, think about taking a pair of comfortable shoes to change into later on in the evening for dancing. Always take lipgloss and mascara in your bag for powder room breaks!

Always wear something that represents your style, whilst being smart enough for the occasion. That includes ensuring that if hats are to be worn, you obey the dress code.
If the wedding is a day to night affair with no obligation to change inbetween, ensure that your dress is suitable for the church and reception. This might mean taking a jacket or shawl to cover your shoulders during the service.
